Danish designer + sculptor, Jens Quistgaard, introduced Danish Mondern to the American kitchen in 1955 with his Kobenstyle line of enameled steel cookware. Originally sold by Dansk for Neiman-Marcus, Kobenstyle is now reproduced by Food52. Collect a piece from the original Dansk production line. Manufactured in France in 1965.
Perfect size for one pot meals. Coq au vin or gumbo. Bring it to the table and display on open shelving to show off its pleasing lines and color. A few subtle chips around the rim, a few light scratches to the cooking surface. Overall in good condition.
