The Holy Grail of Southern cooks. Manufactured in Sidney, OH in the mid 20th century by Wagner Ware, one of the producers of collectible cast iron in the United States. Wagner Ware started producing Magnalite in 1934.
People who covet their Magnalite love the way it cooks because it has the same properties as cast iron but it it’s lighter. Enjoy a pan that cooks evenly from all sides and creates a vapor seal that bastes food as it cooks.
Perfect size for braising Pork chops, jambalaya or frying chicken!
Handle is made of Phenolic and is heat-safe up to 350 degrees. Some surface wear to the interior cooking surface. The top has a nice sheen.
